Founded by the Contat family in 1974, the story of the Contat Sports store has been written for generations in tandem with that of Les Gets resort. It was Daniel and Gisèle who first opened the store’s doors, initially dedicated solely to ski rental and located on the snow front. The establishment gradually diversified and particularly broadened its offer in technical and ready-to-wear clothing.
In the 1980s, their son David Contat joined the store’s management, bringing with him all the expertise of his years spent at the highest level within the French ski team. A plus to always better serve a discerning and diverse clientele who remain loyal to the store for their ski hire in Les Gets.
David’s wife Audrey developed the clothing store section, which expanded and moved upmarket, through exclusive partnerships with the most prominent brands.
Since the 2010s, the Contat family has been welcoming you to a new store covering over 350 m² at 421 Rue du Centre. Two distinct sections according to your needs:
